Important Information for Those Who Depend on Life-Sustaining Equipment

Our Medical Watch program identifies residential customers who use natural gas-supplied life-sustaining equipment.

Medical Watch Benefits

  • Provides advance notice of natural gas service interruptions due to scheduled maintenance
  • Notifies you if natural gas service interruptions may occur due to unpaid bills
  • Allows you more time to plan and take steps to protect your health during a service outage

Participation in the Medical Watch program does not provide priority restoration. The program does not automatically extend service payment options, nor does it guarantee uninterrupted natural gas service. We encourage everyone to have an emergency plan and to have ready any needed backup power and equipment.

Do I qualify?

To qualify, you must live at the customer of record's address and must also be dependent upon natural gas-supplied medical equipment to sustain life. Eligibility must be certified by a Florida-licensed physician.
