Our energy experts recommend the personalized Online Energy Audit for Peoples Gas customers and encourage you to revisit your customized audit throughout the year. For increased accuracy, be sure to update your audit when you install new appliances and make lifestyle changes.
  • Simple Online Energy Audit: If you're in a hurry, this online audit provides a report with estimated usage based on the home profile and local weather data. Unlike the personalized audit, the simple audit does not provide a customized report and does not require you to register as a current customer. If you choose the simple Online Energy Audit, we encourage you to complete the personalized audit when you have more time and the ability to use your Peoples Gas account information.

Check the status of a rebate

Choose one of the following to check status of an existing rebate application. 

After selecting, simply enter the confirmation number you received when you initially submitted your application. This will allow you to check the status and make any changes if needed.

If the application status shows closed, your rebate was approved. Please allow up to 28 business days to receive your check.

If the application status shows on hold, you should have received an email with additional details.
