Beginning in Manatee County and continuing to Port Sutton Road in Tampa, Peoples Gas will install approximately 28 miles of underground natural gas pipeline to provide a second source of natural gas to new and existing Peoples Gas customers. In addition, the new pipeline will serve as a second source of natural gas to fuel the seven combustion turbines in Tampa Electric's Bayside Power Station, located in Tampa.
