TECO Peoples Gas ranks highest in customer satisfaction in region in J.D. Power study

For the second consecutive year, the commercial customers of TECO Peoples Gas have ranked the utility highest in customer satisfaction among natural gas companies in the south region in the J.D. Power annual study.

This is the sixth J.D. Power award for TECO Peoples Gas: For four consecutive years, the utility has ranked highest in customer satisfaction in residential natural gas service among midsized gas utilities in the south region. This is the second time Peoples Gas was eligible to participate in the business customer study – and the second time it ranked highest in the region.
J.D. Power’s 2016 Calendar-Year Gas Utility Business Customer Satisfaction Study is based on more than 10,000 responses from commercial customers of the 61 largest gas utilities across the continental United States. The study was conducted between March and December 2016. It analyzed satisfaction in six categories: safety and reliability, customer service, communications, price, corporate citizenship and billing and payment.
